You, my good friend Ghostsword, is wrong, Neltharian is not Deathwing, he is the son of Deathwing, I always wonder why it seems everyone believes it’s the other way around =/
I correct myself: Due to the similarity in names I thought it was supposed to be Neltharian first, but on closer inspection, I see it said the same on the Faceroll, which means I just can’t read xD
Ahh’m a dwarf … and I know it
*wanders off muttering into the night with snatches of words floating through the ether*
“What’s with all of these air-h…. dinna know WHO they are! … grounding … earth. …. gold”
Possible explanations?
1. Not everyone’s names end in ‘A’.
2. Only mature female dragons get a name that ends in an ‘A’ (Growth of a dragon: whelp — one year –> a drake — a looooong time –> a mature dragon, or just ‘dragon’ for short)
3. Tenebron simply sounds like a female, and is actually male.
4. The Twilight dragonflight doesn’t use the same name logic as other dragonflights.
5. Sartharion named her.
Number two explanation seems likely to me. It would also explain why Chromie’s name (full name: Chronormu) doesn’t end in an A. I suppose number one explanation works as well.
Oh wait. Bronze Dragonflight indeed uses a different name logic. Male bronze dragons’ names end in an ‘ormu’ and females’ end in ‘ormi’. Chromie’s name seems to be an exception but on the other hand, the end of her nickname resembles ‘ormi’. Hmm.
Hmm. The names given in the guide about dragons in WoW Official Magazine #2 seem to support that females’ names end in an ‘A’, and Bronze Dragonflight has a different name logic.
There’s not much information about the Twilight Dragonflight… I suppose just like in Chromie’s case, Tenebron’s name is an exception. Even the Twilight Dragonflight’s members seem to use the ‘females’ names end in an A’ -rule. Or that he/she simply sounds like a female.

Hmm. You’re right. Female dragons’ names do seem to end in an ‘a’.
Alexstrasza, Sindragosa, Ysera…
Wait. Obsidian Sanctum. The three twilight drakes: Shadron, Tenebron, Vesperon. I’m pretty sure one of them is a female. Tenebron.
