A short while back, some of the plugins that handle automatic updates and the page rating were corrupted. Never identified the real culprit, but the code was preventing the comics from being shown.
So is making WoW comics with questionable content/humor, but I gladly do it anyway 😉
I’d say the 50% remark might be true for this particular episode, where a couple of the comments answer questions related to the episode/website. As for the “characters breaking the fourth wall in the comments” it’s a thing tied to this story arc, in a (presumably failed?) attempt to expand the odd humor. I guess what kickstarted this, was the character Cindy being fond of social media, and the voting thing. 🙂
